A last fraternal greeting to the learned humanist and immense literary critic Jean Starobinski, in the presence of Martin Rueff and Guillaume Chenevière.

Making the sensitive intelligible and sharing it was the project of a lifetime: eminent intellectual, specialist in the Age of Enlightenment, critic, professor of literature, psychiatrist, Jean Starobinski never ceased to question the infinite complexity of the human condition and to celebrate the beauty of the world. Born in Geneva in 1920, a personality that was both discreet and brilliant, he left a body of work that would illuminate the paths of thought and creation for a long time. He died in Morges on March 4, 2019.
