À propos
To think about history, society, and also the relationship to oneself, Rousseau refers to nature. Today, even though it is threatened everywhere, its concept is problematic: it has become difficult to invoke it without precautions. With the title "The nature of Nature", the first meeting of the cycle of conferences "Rousseau and Nature" welcomes the great anthropologist Philippe Descola, professor at the Collège de France.
An event organized by the J.-J. Rousseau Society , in partnership with the 6th Swiss History Days , the University of Geneva and the Maison de Rousseau et de la Littérature , with the support of the Maison de l'histoire .
