Maria José Carrasqueira, harpsichordist A Brazilian performer described as a "musician at heart" by Eliane Richepin, Maria José Carrasqueira pursues an intense career as a soloist, guest teacher and lecturer in Latin America, Armenia, the United States, Europe and New Zealand. His album devoted to the work of Ernesto Nazareth received 4 stars in the magazines Le Monde de la Musique and Diapason . In addition to his Lecture-Recitals on Brazilian Music at Harvard University and Berklee College of Music , we must highlight the recital at Weill Hall (Carnegie Hall, New York) in duo with his brother, the flutist Antonio Carlos Carrasqueira. She followed a rich artistic training with her father - the flutist João Dias Carrasqueira - and teachers Lina Pires de Campos, Camargo Guarnieri, Jacques Klein and Magda Tagliaferro in Brazil as well as teachers H. Datyner, J. Demus…
